Alizée Dandelot joined ALTEA Law Firm in October 2025. She graduated with high distinction from the Master’s program in Law with a specialization in Civil and Criminal Justice at the Université catholique de Louvain, ranking among the top students of her class. Passionate about social justice and equality, she has oriented her career toward immigration law, family law, and personal status law — areas that lie at the heart of ALTEA’s commitment.
Before joining the legal profession, Alizée worked as a researcher in law and gender at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Brussels. Her research focused on the right to bodily autonomy, exploring contemporary issues such as surrogacy, sex work, and abortion. She also served as a teaching assistant in legal methodology, where she developed strong intellectual rigor and an exceptional ability to make complex legal concepts accessible.
Her academic background is characterized by an interdisciplinary and international approach. During her Erasmus exchange at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, she studied Gender and Law and Gender and Criminal Justice System, deepening her reflection on how law can serve social and environmental transitions. Actively involved in several student community projects (Ecokot, Kotextile), she helped organize awareness-raising initiatives on environmental and social issues, further strengthening her teamwork and sense of civic responsibility.
Beyond her legal research skills, Alizée brings strong human sensitivity and a deep commitment to justice. She aims to place her legal expertise at the service of individuals, providing hands-on support to those facing challenges related to immigration, nationality, or family life. Guided by an approach that combines excellence and empathy, she fully embraces ALTEA’s philosophy: a legal practice that is rigorous, engaged, and profoundly human.
