Marité Duponcheel graduated with highest honours with a Specialised Master’s Degree in European Law in 2018 from the Catholic University of Louvain. During her final year of study, she participated in an Erasmus programme at Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland, which gave her the opportunity to bolster her expertise in the area of human rights.
During the year prior to her admission to the bar, she completed a traineeship at the Research and Documentation Directorate of the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg.
A member of the Brussels Bar since October 2019, Marité Duponcheel has now begun her traineeship at Altea, where she works in collaboration with Céline Verbrouck and the “Immigration and International Family Law” team.
